How green is socialism?

Capitalist economy has brought the ecological systems of the planet on the verge of collapse. A different way of producing and living is necessary. We discuss with Klaus Dörre, Nancy Fraser and Raul Zelik, three prominent proponents of ecological socialism, the limits of capitalism’s capacity for change and their ideas for a sustainable democratic society in light of the hitherto all but convincing ecological record of all actual varieties of socialism.
